I founded my interior decorating business in 2006 because I believed clients deserved more than attractive ideas. They needed thoughtful, honest guidance from someone who would consider how every decision would work in real life.
That belief still guides Live In Taste today.
I see interior decorating as an investment in the way you live, welcome guests and care for your property. Whether we are considering bespoke curtains, blinds, upholstery, soft furnishings or the wider direction of a room, my role is not to persuade you to buy more. It is to help you understand what the space needs, where your budget will make the greatest difference and which choices will continue to serve you well over time.
Good design must be beautiful, but it must also be comfortable, practical and appropriate for the property. A fabric should not be selected on appearance alone. We need to consider how it will hang, how it responds to sunlight, how it will wear and whether it is suitable for the way the room is used.
These details matter because they are often the difference between something that merely looks good today and an interior that continues to work beautifully for years.
A personal, hands-on approach
Live In Taste is an owner-led business. I remain personally involved in the consultation, planning, product selection, supplier coordination and installation details of every project I undertake.
Over the years, I have built trusted relationships with experienced curtain makers, upholsterers, installers, suppliers and specialist craftspeople. I choose the people involved in a project carefully because good ideas can only succeed when the workmanship behind them is equally considered.
My clients include homeowners, property investors, businesses, guesthouses and hotels. Their properties and priorities may differ, but they all need clear advice, dependable quality and confidence that the decisions being made are right for their space.
Sometimes that means recommending a complete new solution. At other times, the better decision is to retain what is working, improve what is not and invest only where it will add genuine comfort, function or long-term value.
I take my responsibility to clients seriously, but I also believe the process should feel approachable and enjoyable. You can expect careful listening, practical guidance, calm organisation and honest professional advice—with a little humour along the way.
